China kicks off its annual legislative session on March 6. As always, the opening day will start with the release of the government’s work reports, which will set out Beijing’s priorities for the year ahead. But this year, the meeting of China’s legislature will also be accompanied by the release of the 15th Five Year Plan.

• In this roundtable, Dinny McMahon, head of Markets Research at Trivium China will discuss:

• What we learnt from both sets of documents, and whether there were any surprises.

Whether we can we expect new efforts to unlock consumption or stimulate investment.

• If Beijing is moving any closer to dealing with the challenges of property or local government debt.
